REVIEW: L'Oréal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation

(shade #6)

I've tried this cushion for about a week or two now so I think its an appropriate time to finally make this review.

YES. Finally a cushion foundation that has multiple shades darker than ghost whites!!!
I have dry patchy skin so with my experience with its hydration is pretty good! It's definitely following the lead of Korean cushion foundations with the 'dewy' finish. It doesn't cling onto my dry patches like a lot of other foundations/ bb creams do which is always the highlight of a product for me.

I wear this to uni to cover up any redness which I'd say gives about a light to medium coverage. If your the type to touch your face during the day then I'd say you'll have to touch up. Personally I like to have a light layer cause less is more.

The downside is that the retail price for this guy is $29.95 (but luckily I picked it up during the Princeline 40% off sale so it came down to $17.97). So for 14.6g of product, thats pretty pricey. They don't even have refills. I think thats pretty wasteful.
One other thing that I dislike about the cushion is that the sponge applicator feels like a cheap generic makeup round.

Maybe if you really end up liking this product, they try a different applicator or a different sponge like from the famous iope air cushion.

So, to summarise the bads and goods for this product...

Goods:
Dewy finish for all you dry skinned people
Doesn't cake up
Last me a a good portion of a day
Produces multiple shades of 'I'm not a ghost'

Bads:
Cost almost $30 aud for 14.6g of product
Doesn't provide refills
Sponge has a cheap feel to it
Wont give you the greatest coverage if your looking for that

Hope this review helped anyone looking to purchase this cushion. Thanks for reading!

To start things off, I've had a year off blogger and I feel like I need to bring back that platform for more inspiration and motivation on documenting my world and expanding my life's creative visual diary. I'm going to be honest and say I havent been up to date with everyone's blogs too, so as I'm catching up I'll be starting my first post of this year.

I'm in my second year of university now, still doing my bach of design. I don't like lengthy text in post, and photos speak louder than words so here are a few of my most loved things of this year so far.

This denim skirt and cross body bag,

This matte lipstick purchase,
(Stila Liquid Lipstick in Patina)

My first ever ramen burger. Yes, I'm late on that.
(One Tea Lounge & Grill)

Cutest cafe visited so far,
(Passiontree)

And most recent event attended.
(The Sydney Korean Festival that passed last Saturday. Anyone else went as well?)

I'll be looking forward to posting more.
